We de-rigged the LS4 and took the fuse to the workshop, intending to install the bug-wipers. We ended up adding a couple of other instruments and making up interconnecting cables to get it all to work, reasoning that the upcoming comp will be used mainly to get used to the local conditions,, and the bug-wipers could wait. In fact they won't really be needed until the Worlds later in June.
Meantime, here are the promised pics:

There was enough sunlight for shadows!
And the car's outside temp gauge (bottom figure) hasn't read this high since we got the car!
With a great deal of luck we may fly tomorrow.
