11 June, from the crew dude, part 1

So, after - what is it? - 368,486,823.25 revisions of the magnificent light-shelter structure, we were both proven wrong when both edifices came crashing down during the night.  Copious amount of gaffer tape around 0130 allowed both structures to remain more or less intact for the rest of the night, but we'll need to do another revision (and, perhaps this time, some Quality Assurance!) before tonight.

Meantime, today's looking great.  Sunshine for most of the day, with some Cu's (maybe) up until late this evening.  (This is in contrast to tomorrow, which is forecast to be rainy.)  Plan for the guys seems to be some sort of AAT, to the west and the north.  Hope Eric doesn't outland again as we have bucket-loads of stuff to get on with afterwards!

We've just had a briefing aimed mainly at the international pilots who are already here.  It included airfield movements, which are fairly restrictive while the airfield's available for general aviation traffic.  (During the world comp it'll be reserved for gliders.)

The glider's all ready to go…

Cheers
